Beautify Your Mind

Plastic surgery doesn’t mean good or bad, just depend how you think about it. Based on my perception, sometimes plastic surgery could be one of the elements to build up someone’s confident. However, people used to plastic surgery don’t mean they are not beautiful but just dissatisfied with some part of their appearance. In other way round, they just tend to be even more perfect than previous. After having plastic surgery, maybe I couldn’t to make sure the result would be good enough for them, but at least ‘beautify’ their minds as a human. 

The changes

Throughout the years, I realized I’ve changed a lot, not only the appearance but also the personalities.  I still remember I used to self-closing or could be said as an autistic child during childhood. Perhaps people wondered why I said so. I think they might know the external part of me but not the exact internal of me. During childhood, I was not used to share everything with people. No matter how I close to the person, I kept the secrets in my mind rather than reveal them. I don’t know why, maybe I scare of people may ridicule me. However, now I only knew this so-called I lacking the self-confident during that time. I don’t dare to reveal the secret because I scare of people may despise me after knowing the real of me. But recent years, I’ve come through a lot of matters and know there’s nothing I can fear of, at least I’ve tried being generous and confident when sharing with others. For me, it would be better in life. Perhaps people do not think to ridicule you but just you are the one who think like this way. 

It's me

Do you ever create an object to represent your personality? Yes, I did it. Last time I have done with my work that ordered by my visual communication tutor. He wanted us to create an object that could used to represent ourselves. After consideration for long hours, I have decided to make an astronomical telescope to represent myself.

Briefly to definite about astronomical telescope is an instrument that designed to collect and record light from cosmic sources in thus to make us able to observe the object with a long distance. By the way, I read it as the same characteristics with me. As we know, astronomical telescope used to observe the object with a very accurate angle of lens otherwise it could not be functioned at all. Therefore, it functions the way like me. I am the person who really cares about the details. All the things will be arranged and planned in details before take actions.

Besides, astronomical telescope used to observe the object with a distance that we could not even touch it or feel it. And for me this is just like a dream or feelings we unable to touch but we able to see and detect the existing of it. So it means on me as well. I like to dream but sometimes some my rational minds to ask me stop dreaming. Therefore, I have putted the red color with thicker line to represent the braveness that I should own to chase my dreams bravely in future. Also, enhance my strength to face any problems with fully confidence.

While for the yellow dots brokenly from starting point located to form a line and ending with a form of star shape. It means to my life should be cheerfulness and curiosity like the way we looking through the space by astronomical telescope. By the way, the surrounding black area of body telescope provides a greater contrast to the yellow dots and red line, therefore they appear even brighter and clearer about the meaning of them bring to me.  

Let's talk about dreams...

Last time gathering with friends, they’ve shared about their dreams. By the way, when they asked me I was stuck because so far I really have no exact dream that I desire to achieve. One of them said, you have no dream to achieve then you are nothing different with a salted fish. Yes, I agree. I even think that is a very good description as well. No matter how, everybody lives for their dreams, includes you and me. 

Unfortunately, we mostly act to dream but never make it true. Sometimes, we think the dream is just a dream never being true in life or we are giving us a lot of excuses we unable to make it true. I even heard someone told me before, he was regretted because he never putting hard to achieve her dream during boyhood. Now the physically environment makes him even hard to achieve the dream, but he never think to give up. He doesn’t want to regret one more time. He always keeps saying that ‘there’s nothing to make you appreciate except times’. Therefore, appreciate the times you have and to achieve every dream that you desire to achieve. Importantly, never scare of fail, because once you fail you even get more chances to make it success in the end. 

When I need you

We only think of ‘them’ when needed. There’s no doubt. Most of us tend to act like this way. Just like we only think of umbrella when raining. However, sometimes I feel like going to change this kind of perception in mind. This is because not every time we able to get them when we really needed. The ‘them’ could be something or someone. When you need something perhaps you may get it easily but in other way round, when you need someone to help you, this would be hardly to say ‘yes’. For instance, the ‘someone’ you never try to know but you desires he or she may help you?! No way, there’s no such easy deal. They are not necessary to help you to do anything unless they willing to do that. That’s why I say; do not try to utilize anyone in life. Perhaps they might help you once but no more next time. Or you are used to treat ‘them’ nicely all the way, and once you need helps from them then would be easier for sure.  

Adorable language

Dialect is very interesting and unique language. Unfortunately, nowadays people seldom been used to speak dialect with each other. Some of my friends have told me they used to speak Mandarin at home. Or because of always watching HongKong drama and movie cause them know to speak Cantonese fluently. By the way, most of them are not Cantonese but Hokkien, Hakka or Teochew. How strange. So I think they are mostly affected by media rather than other sources. However for my situation, I have slightly different with them. I know to speak Hokkien fluently but actually my native is Teochew.  This is because there are mostly Hokkien people in my birth place which mean my hometown and also my living place. That’s why my family and I used to speak Hokkien rather than Teochew at home. Therefore, besides Teochew, Hokkien is considered as one of my dialect to me in life.

Perhaps some of them actually know the way to speak dialect but then they are not really willing speak to others. I wonder why they act so. However, I used to speak dialect to my family, it make me even comfortable. But among friends, I mostly tend to speak Mandarin or English rather than using dialect. I don’t know why, maybe I’ve classified as dialect been used to talk to family or relatives while Mandarin or English used to talk to others. However, if someone talks to me dialect could make me feel so warm and I would immediately think of my family, relatives and hometown. I think this actually so-called unexplainable familiar with that feeling. How do you think about it?!

BFF

Friend is not easy to get but not that hard as well. That needs to depend on you. Or I should say depend on your luck and fate. Someone I knew, she’s talkative person, that’s why she owns a lot of friends. However, she told me actually there no one is her true friend. I wondered why she said so. She said, there no one could make her share everything includes secret or privacy. She has experienced before, betrayed by someone that she treated as her ‘best friend’. Finally, she was heartbroken. And start from that day, she not really rely on friend. However, she envies me because even I have no many friends as her but at least I own some true friends. As I know, nowadays actually quite suffer to do anything without helping from friends. There has a famous quotation “rely on family when you’re at home but rely on friends when you’re at outside”. It’s true actually especially for those who are working or studying and staying away from home. Because of them perhaps you’re never feeling alone anymore.

Actually I have classified my friends into few groups like travelling partners, working partners, studying partners, entertaining partners, classmates and soul mates. They actually are fulfilling my life with a lot of funniness and cheerfulness. They let me experienced a lot that I could not able to experience with family or oneself. Perhaps sometimes we angry or argue with each other, but after overcome all the matters, our friendship even tough than previously. That would be one part of my memories in life. So, I’d appreciate it all the way.
